Would you like to meet and collaborate with people from many different cultures in Delft ?
To express yourself creatively with others, and to share meaningful messages together?
To be trained to help others express themselves creatively too?
Then this opportunity is for you:

Art 2 Meet invites 7 people who are newcomers to Delft (as asylum seeker/refugee/(labor) migrant) and 7 people who live in Delft (for a short or longer period of time) to join this creative, intercultural journey, and shape and shape initiatives together to have a positive impact in our communities.
During 6 months you will participate in workshops, learning from each other's interests, stories, and experiences through creative and artistic tools. Together you will be invited to explore freely topics related to “living together”, “overcoming prejudice”, “human rights” and other topics that are important to you and the other group members, and will be guided to translate your messages into art pieces!
Finally, you will learn to shape workshops for local community groups in Delft, and together with your peers, you will conduct in a community for one half-day in the 4 months after the workshops. All this accompanied by an enthusiastic team of national and international experts!

For who is it?
Any person aged 16-100 + years old presently living in Delft

Who recently arrived in Delft (asylum seekers/migrant).

Who live in Delft for a long time.
-
Working/studying in Delft temporarily.

Interested in meeting others, in using artistic tools to communicate, question, raise awareness and bring people together.
No previous experience in art is required,
Interest in expressing yourself in different ways is required.
Limited seats : a selection process will take place based on motivation and diversity.
