Meet the team

When Inana and KunstVerbind crossed paths, we discovered that we both had the same goal. It was interesting that our approaches are actually complementary [creating in freedom versus using structured art as a means]. Both methods enrich people in their own way, allowing them to gain more understanding, pleasure, grant something to others, help each other, and exchange information/knowledge/culture. In short, more connection of everyone's lives through art: we will try to enfoster the same feelings of enthusiasm and collaboration in the coming workshops.

About INANA:

INANA creates bridges through Europe between communities through art, leading the urgent shift from the logic of "us versus them" to the construction of common, evolutive, safe “third culture” spaces, in which we value and learn to build on diversity. Understanding the complexity of the migration phenomenon, we seek to overcome  separation & prejudice between individuals living in Europe for a long time and individuals who recently arrived, more specifically those seeking protection.

About KunstVerbind:

KunstVerbind has experience in the Netherlands, in particular in the municipality of The Hague. They are currently carrying out a project in the Bezuidenhout West district, a district with more than 70 nationalities. With the motto: As humans we can learn about our similarities and our differences

Questions & Answers (Q&A) :

Am I obliged to attend all the workshops?

We require a commitment to 80% attendance to our workshops. It is very important for the good running of the project and the group cohesion, that you can be present.

I don’t have anyone to take care of my children, is it possible to bring my children along?

It is possible to bring your children along  in case you can’t find anyone to take care of them. We of course recommend you to try to ask around you if someone could babysit them, so that you can focus 100% on the process, but we know it is not always possible and we don’t want it to be a problem for you. We ask you to inform us via whatsapp or email if you come with your children, in that case we'll ask you to bring lunch for them.

Can I participate even if I don’t speak Dutch or english?

Yes of course! We are used to working with people who speak many different languages. We don’t always have translators to help us out, but with drawings, feet, fingers and google translate we always find ways to communicate well.

Where will it take place ? And how to get there ?

It will take place in the city of Delft. We will provide you with the detailed information in case you are selected.
